      Louisville Courier-Journal

Leslie Ellis of the Louisville Courier-Journal has been covering land use and growth issues in the Louisville area metropolitan area for several years.

She has provided extensive coverage of Oldham County issues to include the initial organization of the Oldham County Countryside Exchange, its successful sponsoring of the Countryside Exchange visit in November 1999 and the team's report released in February 2000.

The Courier-Journal printed an extensively researched series of growth related articles on  November 19, 2000. Most are directly related to issues that Oldham Ahead is currently addressing.

We invite you to review the articles below to acquire a good understanding of many of the growth issues facing Oldham County and its neighbors.  (You can either click directly below to link directly to the Louisville Courier-Journal archives, or click the buttons at the bottom of this page to view copies of the articles posted on this site).
