    The Richmond Times-Dispatch

The Richmond Times-Dispatch began an ambitious series of articles concerning smart growth, urban sprawl, and the effects of growth on county governments and their citizens in September, 2000.

Many of the topics addressed in the articles directly relate to issues being faced by Oldham County.  Additionally, many of the topics and planning tools and techniques are being considered for inclusion in the Oldham County Comprehensive Plan which is currently under revision.
